Improper roof and gutter maintenance over many years has resulted in deep erosion of stone pointing and stone bedding mortar.  Repeated and improper repair resulted in unattractive and unmatched stone pointing and has not resolved the issue.  After the stones are re-bed with appropriate lime based bedding mortar the area is pointed to match the original joint profile and color.
